This Dunhill is a great example of what Obsidian can do for a pipe. When I bought it as an estate, it was filthy and required a couple of hours of clean up.  The stem was badly oxidized.   After cleaning it up and using Obsidian Pipe Stem Oil to keep it looking fresh, its been used regularly in my pipe rotation with out developing excess oxidation.





Thank you for looking at our site.  Our premier product is Obsidian Pipe Stem Oil.  Obsidian Pipe Stem Oil isn’t a wax or a cleaner. Obsidian Pipe Stem Oil is specifically designed to help keep your vulcanite, ebonite or Cumberland stems from oxidizing and help keep them looking newer for longer.  In addition to conditioning and sealing the pores of the vulcanite, thus resulting in much less oxidation, Obsidian also contains small amounts of organic quality  UVA/UVB protection.  Try it and see why it should become a permanent part of your pipe collection!   It’s also great for new pipes.  Each 15ml bottle should last for months with regular use!

 

Directions:  After smoking, wipe off the stem.   Apply a few drops of Obsidian oil to the stem and rub in.  After 30 minutes, wipe the stem with a soft cloth and store as usual.
